Mumbai’s streets are more than just conduits for movement — they are the lifelines of its social and cultural identity. Yet, as the city continues to expand, the quality of public open spaces per person has dropped drastically, predicted to fall below 1.0 square metre per individual by 2025. Temporary Water Holding StructureThis is a schematic design which the firm designed and developed to create a temporary water holding pond of 20,000 lt. water capacity which was required to be constructed for immersion of Ganapati idols during the festival of Ganpati Jayanti in Mumbai. Local BMC corporator Mr. Asif Zakaria and our BMC Commissioner Mr. Vispute wanted to create certain no of isolated water holding ponds in their H/West Ward (includes Bandra, Santacruz and Khar).
