Plot Area: 0.5 Acre (2023 Sq.m.)
Location: Mahabaleshwar, Maharashtra, India
Year: September 2025 onward
Scope of Work: Architectural Design of OutHouse

Project Overview:

We at Atelier ARBO designed this very small two-level extension above and around the existing Security Cabin. This modest yet practical extension provides dedicated private accommodation for the owners’ family during their visits, ensuring they have a comfortable space without disturbing the main Airbnb house operations.

Key Features:

• Ground Floor Extension: Additional space integrated with the existing Security Cabin, offering a compact sitting area, basic amenities, and improved security staff facilities while maintaining privacy and operational efficiency.
• First Floor Extension: A cozy, self-contained family suite constructed above the Security Cabin. It includes a bedroom, attached bathroom, and a small living/sitting area designed to comfortably accommodate family members during their stay.

The design maintains a seamless architectural language with the main house — using matching materials, rooflines, and aesthetic details for visual harmony. We have prioritized efficient space utilization, natural light, ventilation, and privacy, making the extension a discreet yet comfortable retreat for the owners’ family.
This addition allows the main villa to remain fully dedicated to paying Airbnb guests while giving the family a convenient and private base whenever they visit Mahabaleshwar.
